Although the quantity is not large, they have accumulated certain operating experience. Domestic research and development work mainly relies on several large manufacturing plants and research institutes, which provide a certain number of products for operation. In the future, with the construction of more than ten planned DC transmission projects in China, there will be a considerable demand for DC insulators. Long rod porcelain insulator is another new type of line insulator. This kind of insulator is mainly used in Europe, mainly in Germany, mainly because it inherits the advantages of suspension porcelain insulator and has the advantages of light weight (between disc suspension porcelain insulator and organic composite insulator), good anti-aging performance, high pollution resistance, strong white cleaning performance (the umbrella is an open aerodynamic type and does not need to be cleaned), simple and convenient use and maintenance, non breakdown, good and stable electrical performance, high anti damage strength and low operation and maintenance costs.
